Unable to receive calls.

A few months ago I received a letter from Sky informing me that I would be changing from Copper to Fibre wire services and that I had to do nothing, it would all happen automatically.  Well that was the start of a problem that has been ongoing now for months.  No one at Sky is able to help.  Even engineers who came to the house today could help.  I wondered if anyone else has had the same problem and if they managed to fix it.  Basically, I am unable to receive calls from anyone on my home phone.  I can make calls, but cannot receive calls.  When I try to make calls out, I hear a dial tone and can easily dial out.  However, if someone tries to call me, there is nothing.  The call instantly drops like the number doesn't even exist.  I have tried everything.  I have been speaking to Sky for months.  To no avail.  Last week they eventually arranged for engineers to attend my home.  They tested the line and found no faults.  In short, I am exasperated.  Is anyone able to help?

@sortland1965 unfortunately there's really nothing we can do to help. Have you raised a complaint in writing (not verbally) with Sky? If not use the Web form option here: https://www.sky.com/help/articles/how-to-make-a-complaint

I doubt this is a fault that can be fixed by a visiting Openreach engineer. More likely it's a configuration problem of some sort which needs to be addressed by Sky and Openreach behind the scenes.
