Talk to VOIP change
So my BB has been moved over to the new system cause of the copper switch off, this now includes VOIP line instead. Since the change I have no been able to use the landline at all, calls to it rings but nothing my side. Besides restarting the router, is there anything my side I can do to try and fix this before spending 25p/min calling Sky.
Things tried:
Restarting router
2 different phones
Different wires
Power cycling

Re: Talk to VOIP change
Can I confirm your landline phone is now plugged into the appropriate slot in the back of the hub and not into a previously used wall socket?

Re: Talk to VOIP change
Yes it is, when I received the "upgrade" kit a month ago, I followed the instructions and replaced the wires with the new ones (no new router).

Re: Talk to VOIP change
@Ribose did the switch to internet calls (Sky VOIP) involve installing a fibre optic cable, or are you still connected to the old copper telephone line for broadband?

Re: Talk to VOIP change
UPDATE:
After using My sky app to report and get help (case was immediately closed due to a non existent open case) I called Sky.
Turns out it has been in limbo/stuck in a basket without any action ever since I ordered (keeps failing), when retrying their end again keeps failing So if anyone has this issue, this is the reason. Never use My sky for help and call instead.
