Wjat makes you say you think it is a faulty microfilter. If this one is plugged into the box where the phone lines comes into your property have you tried removing it but then plug the phone line cable directly to the box to see if it will work ?

Re: Sky micro filter
I'm pretty sure Sky no longer provide them but you can pick one up online (Amazon, for example) or in most hardware stores and supermarkets.

Re: Sky micro filter
Any microfilter will do the job - there's nothing different about Sky's. But if the ine you've tried is an old one, you might want to try a new replacement first. If it doesn't help, tell us more about the problem you're having, and if necessary we can alert Sky for you and they may be able to help via their private online messaging service.

Re: Sky micro filter
@andy43 There is no such thing as a "Sky Microfilter" it is just a standard microfilter as used by other providers, the ones sky provided just had the logo printed on it.
The one provided by SKy is no different to the ones you can by at stores or online. You just need to make sure it is either an ADSL for Essential or VDSL type for Superfast.

Re: Sky micro filter
Yes, it could be the microfiletr is faulty so you will need to purchase a new one from the suppliers as mentioned earlier.
