Sky Talk - landline problem

When using Sky talk on my landline, I can't hear the person I'm calling - but they can hear me.

 

I've tried using another handset but get the same result, which suggests a problem with the landline.

 

Anyone had a similar problem?

Have tried switching on and off and have also tried a different splitter but with no success, so still can't use the landline phone - can you help please?
