I am unable to access the Sky Talk Shield facility on my PC or Mobile phone. I get the message 'There's been an error loading the page and we can't change your settings right now. If you've just activated Sky Talk Shield it can take up to 24 hours before you can make changes. Please try again later. I have been trying toi get Sky to fix this for the past six weeks. It would appear that no one at Sky can fix it. The last person I talked to Said that he would cancel Sky Talk Shield and reinstate it on my account but it would take 24 hours. I advised him that this had been don on three previous occasions and it did not work. His reply to this was that there was nothing more he or Sky could do. I was suprised to see that this seems to be an ongoing problem with posts going back to 2023.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreYes, it's a long outstanding problem affecting some customers which Sky have so far not fixed. Not a complete solution, but you can still add or block numbers via your phone handset.

What gets me is that Sky know this is a long time outstanding problem but that did not stop many Sky employees advising all sorts of solutions over a period of some 5 weeks knowing that they would not work. This does not give me any confidence that they will ever fix it. I do however have a resolution to this problem and that is to change provider when my contract runs oiut.
