We have had Sky Talk Shield and have noticed that several different people including doctors and hospital have been unable to connect despite following the instructions. They all report that they follow the instructions but then get cut off. Conversely there have been times when I have had to announce myself despite already being starred. Please can anyone advise. Thanks.

You can check your Sky Talk Shield settings by signing in here: Sky Talk Shield.
Talk Shield doesn’t well with work other call blocking products, built-in call screening (for example a call blocker built in to your handset), and some non-Sky voicemails. Turn these off for it to run smoothly.
Check that Anonymous Caller Reject or Last Caller Barring is switched off, this should have been done automatically when you signed up for Talk Shield.
