Hi community,
I'm trying to start a new post re my land line FAULT but keep being directed to posts by other members.
sorry ... newbie !
Is it possible to discuss with an agent?
I have followed all the technical steps but the line is just kaputt 🥺

Hi there,
yes the landline has been working for years but periodically just fails.
Generally, I manage to report via FB messenger or phone but SKY won't respond.
I have purchased new handsets (to arrive Thurs), in case that is the issue.
However, it just mysteriously returns once I report but can't get that far this time.

Keep an eye out for an invite or blue chat bubble.
When the blue bubble does appear you have 48 hours to respond or it will be automatically closed.
Be reassured the email & message is from Sky and your details are safe and secure.
If you are using Safari please make sure that Hide IP Address is not checked in order to see the blue bubble. If you are having trouble finding this to check the settings, use another browser such as Firefox, Chrome etc.
I would also recommend that if not already on, that you turn email/private message notifications on to avoid missing any alerts

A Sky employee was able to check the land line remotely and found no fault.
The issue appears to be with the handset.

thanks for helping me during the week to talk to SKY technical.
A new handset was installed today and the line checked by a technician but unfortunately the fault still persists. David asked me to re-connect back to him to report but I might need you to refer me again?
There is definitely a line fault that only repairs when a SKY technician physically attends to it.
As I live alone and bedbound, I would greatly appreciate your help.

It can take up to 24 hours to be contacted via this.
