my landline number connects to someone else, who says her number is totally different! when ringing my mobile from my landline a completely new number shows up! am on the phone to sky, 20 minutes plus, but not getting anywhere. we never use the landline and only a handful of people have the number anyway.

Just keep trying on the phone as it could be crossed wires causing this to happen. The call for you is free.
