Phone line not working

I need to report a possible fault on my sister's landline, is there somewhere I can report the number to?

Are you authorised to act on your sister's behalf - that is, do you have your sister's telephone password?

 

What problem is she having?

Basically when anyone calls her the phone doesn't ring although to whoever is calling the phone seems fine. She has internet but no ring tone or sound of incoming calls, have done all checks such as new batteries etc

If her phone is connected to the wall socket via a microfilter,  has she replaced the filter? That can be a cause of the phone failing to ring.

Thanks, am hoping I can get the line checked first before getting another filter if necessary?

@stylabull  Has your sister ran the phoneline test to determine if it can find the fault?

You won't be able to get the line checked unless you're authorised, as I mentioned before. I'm afraid. Your sister will need to report it to Sky.

She's not very techno phobe! I'm going there tomorrow so see if I can sort out, just hoped I could find out some info first, thanks for your help
