PSTN switch off after January 2027

Hi,

I have a question pertaining to the PSTN switch off in January 2027.

I know that this is more to do with analogue telephone lines and plugging the telephone into the back of hub, but I am pondering the following:

Will I still be able to stay on Sky Part-fibre VDSL 80/20 on the Sky Fibre Max package after January 2027 as I am in a FTTP priority exchange area and FTTP is available to me?

I have not been contacted by Sky via email or letter pertaining to the digital switch over yet. I am also out of contract too.

Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated, please.

Thank you.

Yes, by default you'll stay on FTTC until you choose to place an order for FTTP.

The only exception is in the handful of exchange areas where Openreach is trialling a mandatory migration away from copper circuits.
