No dial tone

Hi, switched my broadband package and since then I've had no dial tone. Message on phone tells me to check phone line. Done the usual basic checks and no problems showing on the troubleshooter here.

@Angielester  Is there a voice light on your hub? If so Is this illuminated and is your phone plugged into the UK phone port on your hub?

There is no voice light illuminated. All other 3 are. My phone and hub are plugged into the master socket.

When you switched did Sky tell you you would have Internet calls? That would be usual. Try restarting your Hub by switching off at the plug for 30 seconds. Does that prompt the Voice LED to illuminate?

No, I've gone onto the cheapest one with regards to my income. No mention on internet calls anywhere.

Keep an eye out for an invite or blue chat bubble.

When the blue bubble does appear you have 48 hours to respond or it will be automatically closed.

Be reassured the email & message is from Sky and your details are safe and secure.
If you are using Safari please make sure that Hide IP Address is not checked in order to see the blue bubble. If you are having trouble finding this to check the settings, use another browser such as Firefox, Chrome etc.

I would also recommend that if not already on, that you turn email/private message notifications on to avoid missing any alerts
