No Land Line apps not connecting .

After 21 years of service with Sky I have had problems since a few months back an engineer (at my request) because my wife has gone into a home and I didn't want two TVs and he took my Mini QBox. Away and he cut my Sky aerial lead and placed it through two transit windows which prevented me being able to lock the windows cable throu Sky engineers have been to my home they fix it then a few hours later I get the fault all over again.

i have complained to Sky but no one seems to find the fault.
I will be looking for another company if it's not fully working soon.

Can you explain what this means?

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

That's rather difficult to comprehend.

A Sky engineer shouldn't remove a Mini box and doing so doesn't cancel the Multiscreen subscription supplement.

Sky boxes don't use an aerial.

'Landline' issues may be related to broadband, but they are nothing to do with Q television.

I was talking to the same engineer today . He told me that he (the Engineer) had requested that the main Qbox was outdated and he would put that information in his report to Sky and to send a new Qbox, but Sky failed to do so.
He spent a good hour fixing my Broadband and apologised for Sky's lack of service.

@Myurngym so nothing to do with your Sky landline, the forum you've posted in?

All main Sky Q television boxes are still in support.  The original (2016) 1TB cannot output UHD and the original (2016) 2TB doesn't do HDR, but there haven't been any new models since late 2019, and never will be.

I'd imagine the engineer may have been referring to a Q Hub for broadband because those are indeed obsolete as they don't support Sky Talk Internet Calls, which will be a problem when PSTN service is switched off in January 2027.
