My landline is down. How can I book an engineer?

I was recently upgraded to fibre broadband, and ever since my landline has been down, my wifi is weaker, and my internet has intermittently disappeared.

I'm in my 70s and I live alone. I need the internet and my landline for safety.

I've been running in circles trying to speak to someone to fix these problems and I have yet to be connected with a person. I cannot believe that it is standard practice that I need to communicate via a message board to get this seen to!

What do I need to do to get this urgently taken care of?

@El1zab3th  Is there a voice light on the hub?  Is this illuminated?  If so is your phone plugged into the back of the Hub using the UK Phone port?

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

@El1zab3th

If you have fibre broadband then your phone connection does need to be plugged into the back of the broadband hub.

@El1zab3th for your landline to work, it must be plugged into your broadband Hub. There's a phone socket at the back. Your phone won't work from a wall socket.

Check that first.
