Line problems in Haywards Heath , West Sussex ?

Phone is dead and Sky say they're on training so can't respond in less than 30 minutes . Am I alon with a phone problem or is it perhaps an area issue?

Haywards Heath outage talk and broadband since 8/8. Supposed to have been fixed 24/8. Now saying no news and I'll just have to wait! Mobile mast outage to 27/8 too so I can't ring them at home. Appalling way to treat customers. If ever asked for a recommendation it won't be positive!

Have you reported your particular outage to Sky? See this link re auto compensation for when there is a total loss of Sky Broadband or Sky Talk. https://www.sky.com/help/articles/auto-compensation

If you have a total loss of service and it isn’t fixed after two full working days from when you first report the fault to Sky, you will become eligible for it (once it’s fixed).

Hi, thanks. All reported. Openreach supposed to fix it yesterday. We now don't have an update what is wrong or a date to fix it. Compensation isn't much and now the complaints team say it's my job to keep checking with them and they won't keep me up to date. New companies are coming to Haywards Heath, not a moment too soon for Sky to realise customer service is important.

I imagine it's an Openreach issue which means all providers are likely to be affected.

 

Regrettably Openreach are poor at keeping service providers like Sky updated on progress, which is why there's no news.

Thanks Mark39, that may be the case (Openreach actually came to the street yesterday) but having been out since 8/8 and deadline passed Sky are saying it's my job to keep checking with them not theirs to keep me informed. That's the issue I have with them.
