Hi everyone for 3 days i have been getting line cord error on my landline phone, i am unable to call or recieve calls, i did the line check through sky and it gives error saying your sky broadband looks like it has a problem, i cant phone sky as i have a pay as you go mobile phone and it costs too much, i did a check thing online and got this message from sky
"The network team will work on your case within 72 hours. A line test will be run which will cause a disruption to your service for approximately three minutes."
my broadband is working but as you can see its dropped to 16 from 65. any help would be appreciated.

As you've already reported it to Sky via the online connection test, I'd suggest waiting now for the network team to do their detailed line check and let you know the result.

Ok thank you, i wasnt sure if i had done it properly but il wait the 72 hours it was yesterday i asked for the line test. do you think they contact me through email, i dont know know how these things work

I'd guess it will be via an SMS message. If you don't hear anything after the 72 hours, let us know, and we'll ask Sky's messaging team to contact you here, via a private online chat.

Hi Mark, Sky has not got in touch with me i have not had phone line and low internet since Thursday, i asked Sky to do a line test on the 6th but not heard anything, my next door neighbour said that their phone is also dead.

Hi @wanbli as your neighbour also has a phone problem, I'm wondering if it's a general local issue, rather than specifically your line. Give Sky's service checker here a go to see if it sheds any light on the problem and what's being done about it.
If it doesn't show anything I'll ask the Messsging team to contact you to see if they can give you an update.

Hi Mark, i did the service checker and this is what it shows my internet speed very low but doesnt show anything else,

@wanbli OK, I've alerted Sky and a Community adviser may be able to help you via private, online messaging later today. Look out for a blue/red chat 'bubble' towards the bottom of the page. Replies from Sky may not be instant, so check back from time to time for updates. Once the chat is activated it remains open for 48 hours, after which it will automatically close..
