So after various problems with getting fiber installed ( still not in and has been cancelled ) our land line doesn't make or received calls . It just buzzes , broadband is unaffected. Contacted sky they said they'd report and an engineer would be in touch . Now a week later and hear nothing . I accept its the holidays but to have had to message at all confirming I need an engineer . I'm losing faith in sky . What do I do next ?

Find out moreIf there is an external fault then Openreach will be tasked to the job of carrying out the repair and with the Christmas and New Year holidays that could take a little while beyond the usual 3-5 working days timescale they work to. So if nothing appears on your account regarding this and if you haven't asked them before you might want to check with them again regarding this.
