Landline only
I live in a rural area so cannot get Sky broadband. However, I have Sky TV and mobile and I really need to get a landline, as, when the internet goes off, so does my local mast, and I am stuck not able to get any internet nor able to call anyone. Is this possible?

Sky Broadband and Sky Talk landline are bundled together so you can't have a landline on its own.
Your post is unclear as it suggests you have internet already so if you can't get Sky Broadband where you live you need to investigate a landline though your current broadband provider.

Re: Landline only
National 'landline' telephony is moving to broadband: the aim is that within two years there won't be any analogue service. Satellite television broadcasting (itself approaching end of life) cannot deliver telephone calls.
In a truly remote location only satellite broadband is viable (but note you'd need a standalone power supply and a VoIP service)

Re: Landline only
Broadband is good strength but it's through a community fibre scheme which don't do any other utilities.

Re: Landline only
Then to have a 'landline' phone you'd need to subscribe to a VoIP call service with one or more VoIP-capable handsets connected to the router over WiFi or ethernet.
