Landline doesn't allow enough time to answer a call and just cuts off

Were having trouble with out business landline as it only allows for about  6 rings before it cuts off. We don't have a answering messgage set up either, so it's not like its's being forwarded to this. The previous owner who was with a different provider, never had an problems with this so was thinking it must be because we've changed  and moved to SKY. As a business we get times when were busy and are not able to answer the phone within 6 rings but we need it to be able to ring for long to gives the chance to answer it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
