LANDLINE ISSUE

My mothers landline is not working and because I'm not tha account holder they wont talk to me about it - is there anyway I can just report the fault so they can check it

As long as you can answer the security questions and/or provide the telephone password your Mum may have previously provided you should be able to speak to an agent.

Unfortunatally my mother is very old and doesnt know any of those details - I dont want to talk to anyone - I just want to report the fault so they can look at it and fix it if needed - I dont understand why thats so difficult

Call Sky and when prompted for it say "forgotten it" or similar. Sky should be able to verify your Mums identity as the account holder by other means and then set up a new telephone password with her/you.
