Hello,
I recently ordered Sky broadband FTTC and was told I couldn't keep my number and would have to cancel my existing FTTC broadband (with NOW) myself. Now that my Sky connection has been activated, I have given 14 days notice to NOW to cancel my package. Is it possible after the 14 days for the old released number to be allocated to my new Sky account?
Thanks

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreWhere Sky can transfer a number at all, Sky can only do so at the point where they take over your old provider's active line. They can't do it before or after the switch has taken place.
However, in some cases they can't port an existing number at all, and if they've told you you can't keep your number, I suspect that's the case here.
