We are mainly customers on here trying to help other customers and you aren’t directly contacting Sky Customer Services.

We can't see your bills so can't see what your referring to. It could be down to the type of number you dialled, the time of day you called, the tariff you're on?

@Charle

That's about right for the call set up fee and minimum 1 minute billing on a PAYG tariff.

@Fiona98 it's explained in the Tariff Guide, available to view or download online.

There's a link to the Tariff Guide in Sky's help page here: https://www.sky.com/help/home/sky-talk/talk-policies-and-info/sky-talk-user-manuals/articles/downloa...

Have to agree with your comment here. Spot on. Whatever "the small print" it is A Rip Off.

Can't remember the Call now, obviously hung up quickly (probably because got answer machine). But what would have "happened" had I had a prolonged conversation here!??! 🤔😔😔🙏🙏

You would have received an unfortunately large bill, but there's nothing new here.  In the absence of an inclusive package, telcos have been charging a substantial amount per minute for years.

Charging for outbound telephone calls has been a business model for more than a century: surely that can't be news?
