We are mainly customers on here trying to help other customers and you aren’t directly contacting Sky Customer Services.
We can't see your bills so can't see what your referring to. It could be down to the type of number you dialled, the time of day you called, the tariff you're on?

That's about right for the call set up fee and minimum 1 minute billing on a PAYG tariff.

i have had the exact same charge on my bill 52 p for a 3 second call ? this seems totally exorbititant - having just switched to SKY talk and having a landline now which is not working for 4 whole weeks , I am totally disappointed wiht this compnay

but no one told us about the 1 minute tariff before we agreed the contract? are we supposed to be informed of these things? where does this s how on the billing? theres nothing about this on teh billing as far as I can see????? they treat us like mushrooms!¬

Have to agree with your comment here. Spot on. Whatever "the small print" it is A Rip Off.
Can't remember the Call now, obviously hung up quickly (probably because got answer machine). But what would have "happened" had I had a prolonged conversation here!??! 🤔😔😔🙏🙏

You would have received an unfortunately large bill, but there's nothing new here. In the absence of an inclusive package, telcos have been charging a substantial amount per minute for years.
