Getting wrong calls on landline
We keep getting calls on out landline from a lady who's trying to ring her daughter. She is positive she is dialling her daughter's mobile number, starting 07..... but it is coming through to our landline. Any ideas how this may be happening? I feel sorry for the lady !

Re: Getting wrong calls on landline
Odd. Is this the only misdirected call you're receiving? If it was more than just the one I'd be thinking of some kind of network switching error. Otherwise the only possibility I can think of is that her daughter has diverted calls from her mobile to a landline number and unfortunately quoted your number in error.

Re: Getting wrong calls on landline
Thanks! This is what I'm thinking 🤔. We've only had the number for a few months since switching to Sky and no one ever rings our landline.... except this lady ! 😆
I did suggest to her that maybe her daughter has somehow accidentally redirected her calls to our number but she doesn't think that's possible... 🤔

Re: Getting wrong calls on landline
If these calls become troublesome, you could activate the (free) Sky Talk Shield and use it to block the calling number.
