Analogue phone

Hi

i have sky fibre and want to connect an old analogue phone but not working 

any advice ? Is an adapter needed ?

Not working at all? No dial tone? Or just can't dial out?

A standard phone that works when plugged into an Openreach wall socket would normally work with Sky VOIP when plugged into the Hub, but probably not if it uses pulse dialling rather than tone.
