@mae-3 it's a fairly commonly reported problem with Sky+ boxes. The suggestion I made is known to re-establish the connection in many cases, which I imagine is what the OP wants. I'm confident that Sky would offer the same advice.

Can you provide a little more information, about what is telling it has failed the Sky+ box? If the Sky+ box is telling you that information is the router lights lit up correctly?

@TURBOMAN123 try turning off both your Sky box and your broadband router at,the plug. Wait 30 seconds before,turning your router back on and another 4 minutes before turning on your Sky box. Then see if it connects.
