We have no sky Q box

We have an old sky box.  The engineer  could not find an adapter to fit to the tv. We have no sky talk phone since our landline has been cancelled

Why was an adaptor needed ? Does your tv not have an HDMI input socket? If you have Sky broadband you also have Sky Talk. They're bundled together.

Where specifically do you need the adapter to fit ?
