Sky box has been working normally, this morning when on recordings It says insert your viewing card with the chip facing up? Have tried taking the card out and inserting it again but it still says the same message ??

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreWipe the, chip side of the Card with a soft, dry cloth and reinsert it. Turn off your Sky box at the plug for 4 minutes, then see if the Viewing Card is OK.
