Viewing card not working

New viewing card inserted into sky+ box. Paired new card. Pairing successfully and message says channels will be available shortly but that was 5 hours ago so obviously not working correctly.

May we ask why you are trying to

psir a new viewing card to a Sky+ box because as of October last year it is no longer possible to do this.

Were you sent the new Viewing Card by Sky? What was the issue with the old one?

I rang sky earlier this week as I had the same issue with an old card. Managed to speak to customer services they said they would send out a new card which arrived today. I have put it into a new sky+ box. The card has paired successfully message on screen is request was successful. Your channels will be available shortly. Code in top right hand corner CP04

Yes sent a new card as I was getting the same error message all last week. Replaced the sky+ box manage to speak to sky explained the situation they sent a new card that arrived today but I am getting the same message. Request successful. Your channels will be available shortly but that was over 5 hours ago

@Jo289 you can't pair a Viewing Card with a replacement Sky box, I'm afraid. That will apply to a replacement Viewing Card as well. Your Card is linked to the box you were using in October last year.

In setting, system details, oin the sky box the viewing card number matches the one on the card

IIRC the box just shows the card number of the inserted card and not the one it's paired to

@Jo289 it's the replacement box that's the problem, not your Viewing Card.
