Unusable VIP reward

Just realised that the VIP reward I was sent for a year's free Paramount+ does not work with the system that I have so why would it be offered

You can access Paramount+ on other devices like a computer, phone or tablet so although it's not available on Sky+ it's still a good reward.

Neither is Sports+ or any other bundled app, because it's been a decade since the last Sky+ HD hardware was manufactured.  It's legitimate for Sky to incentivise migration to a current platform.
