Sky to box won’t work

I resently changed my contract since the the sky box doesn't work 

it started by saying no satellite signal so I turned everything off and unplugged it now it says box installing please wait

@Lesmand welcome to this customer Community. We're mainly customers here and this is not a live chat with Sky.

 

The cause of your 'no satellite signal' problem is most likely a fault with your dish or cables. Your Sky box can't initialise unless it's receiving a signal from your dish. Unfortunately Sky no longer provide engineer support for Sky+ equipment unless you have Sky Protect, so you'll need to contact a local satellite engineer to take a look.

Alternatively now might be a good time to consider upgrading to Sky Q. Any dish or cabling issues will be addressed as part of the Sky Q installation at no additional cost to you
