Sky had not working
Sky had box not working, tried hard reboot and several attempts to start but power led just flashes red constantly. Suspect hard drive faulty and wondering about sky q , but heard it's being phased out and access to our sky disc is very limited, what would you suggest is best ,we still like to record programs, thanks

Re: Sky had not working
Flashing LED is usually a faulty power supply
Please Note: Sky+ is now a legacy/obsolete service that Sky are replacing with their newer services: Sky Glass, and/or Sky Stream.
Satellite TV is on its last legs and is being replaced due to the lack of any new satellites being launched to replace the existing ones that are at the end of their service

Re: Sky had not working
@Colhd SKy Stream (via your broadband connection) if Sky can't access your dish due to health and safety constraints. While you cannot record using Sky Stream, there's largely no need for a local recording service, as the programmes you might want to record are almost certainly available to stream after they've been shown live (similar to the way On Demand works now).

Q is still available on a two year minimum contract term, although only by phoning as it's no longer listed as a product on the Sky website.
Satellite television broadcasting will probably cease around 2029
BT Halo 3+ Ultrafast FTTP (500Mbs), BT Smart Hub 2
