My sky box for a while has been playing up eapecially when turned on picture is not loading up is blury i have to switch off then put on and second time round is usually ok

That's an unusual 'symptom'. Most issues clear when you switch off at the plug for 4 minutes. If yours continues to do the same, it may have developed a fault. The most recent Sky+ boxes are at least 7/8 years old, so it may be reaching the end of its life and need replacing.
