Sky box not working

We live in a poor reception area and need to put our terrestrial tv through sky. We have no tv at the moment. We have 

Been give  a date of the 4th August to replace the box which is totally unacceptable.

Why not sort out the terrestrial tv reception? It works when it passes through the Sky box because the box amplifies the signal a little. A stand alone plug in TV amp will do the same thing.

 

I assume by replacing the box you mean you're upgrading to Sky Q - Sky Q boxes don't have a TV passthrough so you'll need an alternative solution anyway for terrestrial TV.

@JeanAllen  You've postd on the Sky+ board however these are old legacy boxes and Sky don't send an engineer to sort any issues.

 

Do you have or are you getting Sky Q? in addition any appointment given will be the earliest avaiabale, there is nothing the community can do to speed this up.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.
