I had a letter that we can upgrade for sky Q without any extra cost

One of my fellow Superusers has put a note together of the differences between Sky+ and Sky Q which may help you. Thanks @nigea99 🙂

Note this typically means no up-front cost (i.e. an installation fee isn't charged).  Adding Sky services such as Multiscreen or UHD, Sports or Cinema will increase the monthly subscription.
