I had an email saying my Sky Plus box will no longer receive software updates and I can upgrade to Sky Q. Only problem is, where I live we are unable to get Sky Q as we have tried this last year.
Would the Sky Plus box carry on working etc if it is left and I'll continue to get all my channels?
Many thanks,
Ant

If it's Sky+ HD, then yes, as far as we know.
Sky+ before HD (SD-only boxes) becomes essentially unusable later this year.

Thanks for the quick reply.
Mine is a HD box, number is 4F3136
So looking like it should be ok for a while anyway as it stands.
Thanks again, much appreciated
