Sky Box not working
Our Sky Box is not working properly.
It will no longer record, fast forward or rewind.

Try a planner rebuild:
Press Services on your remote
Select Help
Select Sky+ Rebuild
This should take no longer than 10 minutes, don't do it if you are recording or due to start recording something. Your recordings and downloads are safe when doing this.

What error message is displayed when you try to record, or play a recording from your Planner?

Message is: There is a problem with your Hard Disc Drive, recording, on demand and other services are not available.

@BarbaraDunn try the Planner Rebuild as suggested. If that doesn't restore normal working, the last resort if a full System Reset, from the same menu as the Planner Rebuild. It will delete all your recordings, I'm afraid.
If that doesn't fix it, your Sky box has had it, I'm afraid, and you'll need to think about upgrading either to Sky Q or Sky Stream.
