Signal problems

It is saying on various channels that I don't have a signal and I have an engineer coming to me to fit a Sky Q box on Tuesday and I am scared he comes and it's my dish or something. I have heart and mental health problems and it's making me worry about it

hi @Ewen3534

As you have agreed to switch to SKY Q then the engineer will re-align & possibly replace the dish & any cabling if needed - the electronic bit on the dish will be replaced - this is all done as part of the switch

I am sorry this may be a bittechnical in places but you may, also, wish to read some notes I have made for people considering switching from SKY +/HD to SKY Q

SKY +/HD to SKY Q

Any further questions at all & we will try to answer if we can

No need to worry, @Ewen3534 . Part of the Sky Q installation work is to ensure that your dish and cables are in good condition, as @nigea99 posted. Having to replace them, should it be necessary, is just part of the job and won't be unexpected by the engineer.

They replaced mine when I had Sky Q installed - in fact they asked me if I would like them replaced even though my old dish and cables were ok.
