SKY PLUS HD BOX SWAP

Hopefully a quick easy question, can I put my current sky card in a new replacement sky plus HD box without any phone calls or reconfiguring? We don't have an internet connection to our current HD box (through choice) so rely / use the satellite only. Thank you for any useful advice 👍

Please Note: Sky+ is now a legacy service that Sky are replacing with their newer services: Sky Q (all issues will be fixed during a Sky Q install), Sky Glass and Sky Stream

You have to contact Sky to check their policy on pairing viewing card to legacy boxes 😞

Unfortunately, Sky no longer allow viewing cards to be paired to replacement Sky+HD Boxes.  If your existing Sky+HD Box is broken, Sky will insist on switching to Sky Q or Sky Stream.
