I have just purchased a used Sky+HD box which works well , but will not let me record. What are my options to get this to happen? I don't have a Sky contract. Thank you.

If you are not a Sky TV pay customer then you will be unable to record, pause, rewind or fast forward.

I don't hold a Sky subscription, but is it still possible to get Sky to send me a viewing/record card for a "one off" fee, or a small monthly subscription? Thank you.

You can phone Sky but they don't usually provide this service any more as Sky+ is now a legacy system

I thought that they may not be interested in the Sky+ HD box any longer, but I will give them a ring any way. Thank you.

Hey i am intersted to know, seeing as i am avid fan of Sky+HD, whether or not sky budged and gave you +HD. did this happen or not?
