Retiring Sky Sports package
I haven't had any luck with the virtual assistant so thought I'd try here before I tempt fate by calling.
I currently have a Sky subscription made up of the basic viewing package plus two sports channels (F1 & Premier League).
On May 28th I received an email from Sky saying "From August 2026, we’ll be retiring your current Sky Sports product. As part of this change, we’ll automatically upgrade you to Sky Sports Complete where you will now get all of Sky Sports, including 80% of all televised Premier League matches, every F1 race, all 9 golf majors and Sky Sports+. All at no extra cost. There’s nothing you need to do — we’ll take care of everything for you. Your Sky Sports price will stay the same for the next 24 months, before moving to the standard price.".
It is now mid-September and on both my Sky box and Sky Go it would seem that I am still only able to receive the two channels I had previously signed up for. At the end of the day, they are the channels I want, but over the past couple of weeks I have tried to access some of the other Sky Sports channels and regardless of whether it is via my Sky+HD receiver or Sky Go, I am informed that I would have to upgrade my subscription to gain access.
Has anyone else received the same communication and is experiencing the same as I am?

Everyone who had a similar sports package to you would have been sent this upgrade email so it might be that either this process hasn't started yet or they just haven't got to you

Re: Retiring Sky Sports package
Thanks. I was guessing (and hopting) that this was probably the case.
I don't really *need* these extra channels, but it was only when I selected the wrong one by mistake at the weeked that I realised the change which was proposed in the May email had yet to take place.

There are a couple of threads on this subject, one being this one on the Sky Q board
