That will be your issue as the viewing card can only be paired the original box it was in and not to a replacement box. So you would need to speak to Sky about upgrading to Sky Q, Stream or Glass.

Whilst it used to be possible to obtain a replacement Sky+HD Box and pair your viewing card to it, Sky withdrew this facility in October 2024.
When a Sky+HD Box now no longer works your options are to switch to Sky Q, Sky Stream (or Glass) or cancel altogether (providing you aren't in a minimum term)

OR if it is HDD issue ... you can replace the HDD, although it is not easy to replace HDDs in DRX890/895 boxes😟
