Ray neo glasses 4
Have sky hd+ box I know old but I have 3 of these and family can view keep individually.
Bought some ray neo 4 glasses and hoped to watch sky outdoors.
Glasses give sound no picture.
Work fine with dongle for IPTV streaming so have to watch sport on that even though I pay to watch on sky.
Help anyone done this successfully.

Can't imagine there'll be many/anyone who has combined the old tech of a Sky+HD box with such a new product.
It's probably down to not being HDCP compliant. The compatibility charts listed on the Ray neo site do not list any modern A/V devices apart from computers and consoles so you'll probably be out of luck unless you use some kind of additional device which strips the copy protection from the HDMI output of the Sky+ box - something we would never condone.

Re: Ray neo glasses 4
@johnproudlove something to do with HDCP protection on the Sky box's HDMI output, perhaps?

Re: Ray neo glasses 4
I think that is the problem but I am not doing anything but watching what I have paid for.
I will have to continue watching sport on IPTV streaming service which is annoying in the least.
- Anyone know a splitter or device I can remove this so I can watch it.
- Don't know why any protection is on there I could record on HDD anyway.

Not a discussion that would be condoned on the official Sky forum.

Re: Ray neo glasses 4
I don't want to record it just watch it as I paid for it.
I had thought of scart but thought it would be fuzzy I will try it and see if it works will report on how it looks.
If it works.

Re: Ray neo glasses 4
Ok tried scary not worth looking at really.
The answer for me was a used micro computer 5" X 5" for under £40 from eBay.
Load sky go and works well + you can put on itvx NetView prime iPlayer and really anything, cheaper than rayneo TV box.
I know sky hd is old tech but it gives me a good picture and I do not have full fibre only copper wire and hd is broadband hungry.

I have a copper line and use it for UHD/4K all day, you don't need full fibre just fibre to the cabinet 🙂

And probably illegal...
Your Sky Go solution is almost certainly preferable in that respect.
BT Halo 3+ Ultrafast FTTP (500Mbs), BT Smart Hub 2
