Pairing sky+ card
Need to pair my viewing card again after the system has been off for a while. Have done it previously with no problem but this time I am lost. Have followed the steps on the web site, have updated etc. Folled the link to activate and have logged in. But what happens then? Where do i enter card/ box info . All I see is the same recurring information with no possibility to enter data? Please help.

Re: Pairing sky+ card
You should be able to do it via the box itself:
Make sure your Sky viewing card is correctly inserted into the box.
Press Services on your Sky remote
Press 0, 0, 1, Select (setup should now be highlighted)
Scroll across to New Install
Press Select twice
If someone has helped you then please click on the LIKES button in their post.
If you need help please provide as much information as you can

Re: Pairing sky+ card
Hi. Thanks for your reply. Ive just followed that but unfortunately not working for me. Seems like this works only with telephone line / broadband installed. I'm not on either. So any further information/ suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Pairing sky+ card
Yes, it will only work with a broadband connection. When you tried online, were you using this link: https://activatemychannels.sky.com/activate

Re: Pairing sky+ card
Thanks for your reply. Yes, that's exactly what I was doing. I did the update successfully and the services bit noting the various numbers. I then clicked on the link which they give ( and you have given) . Have also logged in, but the link just opens the same page. My problem is where do i enter any card / box info to actually activate the card? All i can find on my account page is a possibility to update the pin. Nothing for pairing. I'm confused as i have done it without problem some time ago.

Re: Pairing sky+ card
You could try clearing your browser's cookies, temp files etc in case it's cache related. Or try your browser's incognito/privacy mode. If that doesn't allow the box and Card to pair, your only option would be to call, but I'm not sure that Sky can help if you no longer have a subscription.

You'll need to phone Sky and have them pair the card remotely
A phone number is given on a link on the page linked to below:
(make sure the correct country is selected at the bottom of the page)

Re: Pairing sky+ card
I had the same problem. In the end I called the support number 0333 759 1018, stated to the automatic voice my problem "pairing viewing card" and was then asked for my viewing card number etc. Once I entered or spoke these the system took my request and within 15 minutes sent an instruction via the sat channel to my Sky+ box and the viewing card was re-paired.
Hope this helps.
