@Chloe-W22 Nope. No change. Although I am finding living without Sky is getting easier as my subscription fees are up and features are down. I can't be the only one considering their options.

Hi @MogwaiSatTV . No all previous recordings are still in my planner after trying this.

Re: On demand download failure Sky+ on 2 boxes

As a test I have just taken up the Sky VIP offer to download Shazam and that is downloading fine without issue. So it cannot be that broken that it should be taking this long to see what is causing the issue.

I'm also having the same problem. Has anyone managed to resolve this?

Sky Q is not an option for me as in a flat with communal dish and this is set up for Sky Q.

Yes I was able to download the free Shazam movie too, however when I tried to rent a movie the other day it wouldn't download, I bet you Sky took my money for it though!

@TheRealFixer - I had considered same in fact I have now cancelled my DD so that's me done with it especially seeing that you can get same content on NOW which is SKY app at approx third of price so how can they justify that additional cost plus I can turn on and off when I want not like currently where I can add more cost online but can't reduce without calling. Took this download issue to give me a boot up the backside and move on.

Hope that does not effect your credit rating 😞 Sky Terms and conditions require 30 day notice before cancelling your subscription

I don't think I will be far behind you in cancelling, I think I've watched all BBC and ITV have to offer now 🙄 so I've few options left

8 weeks now...still no answer to our download failures.

I can download any trailer but not the actual programme..very suspicious.

Re: On demand download failure Sky+ on 2 boxes

@Annie+UK - After 8 weeks of not being able to use ALL services purchased I don't see how they could throw that one at anyone, it is SKY who have failed me for past 2 months so I would say that would balance things out especially after all the years I have been with them.

I suspect it's an automated process...

Re: On demand download failure Sky+ on 2 boxes

@Mark39- what is automated, the inability to get through to someone on the phone definitely or do you mean a credit score penalty applied.

As I have said before it appears they have withdrawn support for our boxes how else can you explain the selective nature of downloads working, trailers etc fine but not programs.

Someone for SKY just be honest with people, it wouldn't take 8 weeks  to sort if there was an issue with payments getting through would it. 😀

I think my post is quite clear.

Re: On demand download failure Sky+ on 2 boxes

Sky although they are aware of download failures and most itv programmes not being available since Saturday say it is ITV,S responsibility to resolve it.

Then tell you they have teams looking to resolve it so mixed messages.

As I pay my money to sky and have done for the last 21 years my argument is it up to them to sort it out and chase other companies and this issue has been happening since December last year on all channels.

TBH even if you email viewerr they could not care less.
