Not recording

After the massive outage day before yesterday I can no longer record, pause etc

 

Box message is it's not connected to the Internet but services showd a good connection. 

 

Restarted router, done a rebuild and even a factory reset.

 

I've tried to get help from the sky engineer but he was unbelievably rude and disconnected me.

 

Can anyone advise ?

Give Sky a call as they might need to reset your viewing card.

 

Your box and the internet message is nothing to do with no being able to pause, record and rewind.

 

150 is the free number to use from a Sky Mobile or Sky Talk phone otherwise under "Need more help ?" link at the bottom of the page on this link is the number to call Sky on:

@loopy44 the ability to record doesn't rely on an internet connection - that's needed only for On Demand only. What's the error message when you try to record?

Simply that the box is not attached to the Internet

An Interactive Services error has nothing to do with recording. At the moment I'm not clear what the fault is.

 

What happens when you go to the TV Guide and press the record button on your remote?

Hi @loopy44 Try rebooting your SKY+ box by removing the power cable for 5min then reconnect to reboot?

Odd.I haven't come across that before.

 

The only thing left you can try is a software update. If that doesn't resolve it, you'll need to speak to Sky, to see if there's anything else they can do. If you wish we can ask their messaging team to contact you here so that you can do that.

 

Failing that, I think. you'll have to replace the box (or upgrade to Sky Q/Stream).
