Re: No hard disk
hard drive failing. Done all the checks. Can I still get a sky HD box replacement from sky? Apparently stopped making them from 2016

No, and you can't get one from anywhere else either unfortunately. Sky no longer allow the viewing card to be paired to a different box.
You'll need to call Sky to discuss options, which will be to switch to Sky Q, Stream or Glass.

Actually 2015, we think, because Sky Q was launched in early 2016

Re: No hard disk
Unfortunately, no. You can no longer pair a Viewing Card with a different box. The only thing you could do is replace the hard disk in your current Sky+HD box, but that's not an easy proposition.

No: Sky withdrew that capability in October 2024 as part of the wind-down of Sky+ HD support.
