My daughter has special needs and lives in supported living. Her sky box has failed and needs sortin

My daughter has special needs and lives in supported living. Her sky box has failed and needs sorting.

She has had several phones over the years and we cannot get any help as we don't have the phone number the account was originally created with.

Sky will not talk to me without that phone number. How can I resolve the situation?

Part of my daughters condition is autism and she is very stressed out.

HELP.

@DeeJay49  If they have a Sky+ box you need to be aware Sky no longer supply these as these have stopped being made around 2016.  They may suggest Sky Q.  You can however obtain a Sky+HD box on th 2nd hand market.

Sky +HD DRX895WL 2TB. Built in Wi-Fi Lite Box (Telephone ports removed)
Sky +HD DRX890WL 500GB. Built in Wi-Fi Lite Box (Telephone ports removed)

You can call on 150 from a Sky Talk Line or Sky Mobile.

If you haven't got a current Sky Mobile or Sky Talk this link should help:
(UK) https://www.sky.com/help/home Scroll down and click on ‘Need more help’ and it provides a 0333 number
(ROI) on the same link change the flag in the very bottom corner to the ROI flag to obtain an 0818 number.

Stay on the line and don’t hang up if prompted to. Apparently the quieter times to ring are just after 7am or about 9pm.

@DeeJay49
In your daughters circumstances it may be worth her registering with the Sky Accessibility Team who may be able to help now or in the future. Once registered there are also different methods of communication with this team
https://www.skyaccessibility.sky/

Perhaps that is something you can help her with.
