I have followed the instructions on screen but fault still not resolved

Which box are you seeing this message on Sky+HD or Sky Q

You do need to wait for a reply as this is a customer helps customer community not a live chat service.

 

The first troubleshooting step is to restart the box by switching it off at the mains, waiting a minute, and then switching it back on. If the error persists, attempting a full system reset may help, though this will permanently delete all recordings, downloads, purchases, reminders, and series links. It is important to note that resetting the hard drive does not guarantee a fix if the drive itself is physically damaged.

 

If the drive is damaged your only option will be to move to SKy Q or Sky stream as Sky+HD is a legacy system and is no longer supported by Sky.
