Complaint of how long term customers are treating compared to new customers

Why is it, that even after being a customer for over 28 years, new customers still receive a better offer on the packages than i do?

My current subscription has just exipred and i have been informed that it has gone up by a few pounds. Even speaking to the help desk there view was that there are no offers for existing customers, yet new ones will get load of deals.

i feel that this is disrespectful to those that have been loyal to sky for so long, but i get the feeling that they dont really give a fuss.

Most providers do this now. It's not unique to Sky. From recent posts on here it does seem that decent deals are increasingly hard to find. If you choose to leave the same will happen at the end of your discounted deal with whoever you go with. Once you've been away for 18 months you'll be able to rejoin and benefit from new customer discounts.

New customers are given hefty discounts to join. Apparently, Sky's experience is that existing customers don't have to be enticed to stay.

Other providers are no different. If you can't get a deal you're happy with, best to cancel and sign up with a competitor. Bear in mind that you'll be in the same position when your initial discounts with a competitor expire.....
