Channel 4 HD catch up not available without HD package?

Since my package wa downgraded without the HD add on, I can no longer download catch up shows on Channel 4 HD.  However, I can still watch shows on Channel 4 HD. This was not explained when I downgraded my package. In fact , the advisor didn't seem to have a clear idea of what I would lose by removing the HD add on. 

This doesn't seem right.

Can you access Channel 4 SD catchup content ?

@dazotron99 Channel 4 have dictated that to receive their HD content from On Demand you need the HD Pack. As @caesarome says, you should be able to download in SD.

Yes I can download in SD.  The thing that really annoyed me is that this was not explained by the phone sales person when I adjusted my package. In fact, to be honest, she didn't really seem to know what the HD package did or didn't give. She just said I would lose non-terrestrial HD channels like Sky Atlantic HD.  Seems like the Sky sales team need some product training.
