Can not access channels I subscribe to

I keep getting a message on screen telling me to upgrade to channels I already subscribe to when I click upgrade it says you already subscribe to these channels.  Called sky but did not help they advised me to do a reset and never told me I would loose access to all my apps as well

What TV service do you have, so Sky+, Sky Q, Sky Glass or Sky Stream ?

In your initial post you mentioned loss of apps but SKY + does not have any apps so is it possible you have SKY Q  or even SKy Stream ?

No I called Sky and they told me to do a reset they never said this would log me out of all apps

As stated above, you can't have a Sky+ box as it is not possible to get apps on that so I take it you have a Sky Q box ?

@Alison158 is there a problem with simply logging in again?

 

There are no apps on Sky+ boxes, where you've posted.
